We are continuing to worship in person. Please take time to read the guidelines that we have provided, so that we may continue to have safe services. While there may be a difference of opinions, the church leadership is asking that everyone follow the guidelines in the best interest of the church and out of respect for your church leaders. We are using the governor's recommendations regarding places of worship. If you would like to read those, there is a link below.
FAQ'sShould I feel obligated to attend church service? No. At this time the governor still recommends worshipping virtually so don't feel obligated or disobedient if you chose to remain at home. We will continue to have the service available online.
Who should NOT attend? While we would love for everyone to attend, the current recommendations of those that should not attend are the vulnerable populations, those who are sick, and anyone that has been recently exposed to Covid-19.
How will I know where to sit without coming into contact with another person or family? All members of your family are asked to sit together. We are currently working on how spacing will work between family groups so that we can maintain a 6ft distance. Someone will be here to help with seating you and your family.
How will offering be handled?Offering plates will be located on the offering table, at the back of the sanctuary, and at the door leading to the parking lot for people to drop their tithe in to without coming in contact with others or passing plates.
How will we dismiss without coming into contact with one another? We will dismiss by rows. We ask you to be patient and understanding as we stagger our dismissal.
Will there be Sunday night and Wednesday night services? No. We will only have Sunday morning worship when we reopen. Other activities will continue to be evaluated regularly.
We will continue to update these guidelines as we finalize our reopening plans.
